David and Elton might be happy outdoors but someone who's less convinced is Janet's veal mentor, Joe Collingborne.
"There's severe physical stress there," says Joe as the calves run past, "you say his meat's tender but it will be a different type of meat to what I'm producing."
"I'm sorry Joe," says Janet, "for the bit of life they've got left, I want them to have the same view I have."
But Janet doesn't stay sentimental for long.
"And they'll stop crapping all over each other and wiping their arses on the walls," she adds.
