It's now time to transfer the beer from the plastic barrel in Gordon's garage to the bourbon-soaked oak barrel that will give the beer its characteristic vanilla and caramel flavours.

Dougal points out where the barrels have been charred before pouring bourbon in to them and the all important golden layer where the bourbon has soaked in.

"Brewing Beer"Ramsay on Nov 10th show Ramsay had on Master Brewer Dougal what was the name of the beer he was trying to copy? Sounds very good and would like to purchase some if available here in Ontario

Chef Ramsay, I have been following you on the BBC and Fox network. The beer you made sounds amazing. Is there any chance you are going to sell it in England or the US? And thanks for having recipes available....you have awakened a pashion for food in me and my family...I can't thank you enough. Dave R
