The best way of catching a catfish is to get in the water and wrestle them with your bare hands – a process known as noodling. Novice noodler Gordon grabs his rod and goes to meet local champion, Lee McFarlane.
"What are the chances of being bitten?" asks Gordon. "It's like a pit bull," comes the reply. "If he gets hold of you he'll make you say words you haven't said in a long time."
He'll have his work cut out with Gordon.
Noodling alone is a no-no so the whole family comes along for the ride. "It's like fishing with the Waltons," says Gordon.
