Dougal Sharp, the Inns and Gunn beer guru, comes down to London from the Highlands to help Gordon with his home brew. And he's brought the all important barrel with him. "90 per cent of the flavour of this beer is from the barrel," explains Dougal. "Bourbon was in there first and it takes out all the flavours you don't want in your beer, while imparting the creamy, caramelly tones of the spirit."
"Tana's going to love this," says Gordon as they wheel the massive barrel into his back garden.
"She'll love it. It looks like you," jokes Dougal.
Easy there, you're on Gordon's turf now.
