It seems you can't teach an old dog veal farming, but this is the Young Farmers' Fair and Janet's got the next generation in her sights.
Changing tack, she uses biscuits to lure in the young blood. Baited with bourbons, the young farmers receive the full veal spiel.
"If we hadn't bought them they'd be shot or sent to the continent," Janet explains.
"It's a waste isn't it?" says one strapping young fellow.
Victory at last.
