Janet's keen to hold her own amongst the hard-nosed traditional Yorkshire farmers and she's relying on her bonny boys to win them over to the veal ideal.
"What do you think of them?" she asks the farmers.
"Are they going to make you a lot of profit?" asks one. "You can't make them pay because they cost too much money to rear."
Even Janet's girlish charm can't compete with economics.
