  2. Watched the programme on Friday night for the first time. I really liked the look of the Christmas Trifle so I logged on to the website for the recipe. Since I don't normally cook, I was dissappointed to find that I didn't even know what mascarpone or panettone is much less where to buy them. A programme intended to get people interested in cooking food should at least try to use ingredients which are easily available from any local supermarket or explain about them clearly on the website.

  4. Without using the Fword - why did you change the ... menu? Love the show and we have fun cooking along with it. I thnk it does more to get people cooking rather than takeaway than other shows have tried to do. But...disappointed with the menu change as we were all looking forward to the Chicken Fricawatsit dish after seeing the preview last week. For what it's worth, we think Paella is a bit of a cop out and calling it Christmas Paella doesn't make it a christams dish. Also you seem to be getting a bit lazy on the updates for the ingredients etc. I guess its the last week and you are running out of steam? Otherwise, has been a blast - looking forward to the next cookalong - if you have another run at it.
