  1. Yes, agree with last comment about the annoyance...luckily enough, I hadn't bought anything - noticed the change and was REALLY disappointed to see it had changed to Paella! we both don't like the idea of that one...come on Gordon, you could have done better on your last show of the series...so no cookalong for us this week, and yet, we had done all of the other 6 including the first January one....still, seeing Gordon last week at the Taste of Christmas show, made up for it...Keep it going Gordon, we love ya!

  2. How annoyed and upset were we to find that all of the food we had bought was wrong as the menu had been changed midweek!?! We cooked the original week 7 menu ourselves and watched Top Gear on Dave as we cooked instead. Have to say that a last minute menu change like that was totally unfair to those who had already trekked round supermarkets for ingredients (in my case late at night on the one evening I had spare to shop). This was our first cook-along and not something we will be repeating in a hurry!

  3. We actually cooked the original recipes because other than on the website there was no announcement that the recipes had changed, and we printed off the ingredient list on Wednesday! So a bit of a disappointment from the Tv cooking experience but the receipes we cooked were great - although we didn't rate the main so much. Chestnut soup with chorizo was definitely the hit of the evening.

  5. I used to say: what is of gordon ramsay without his cream? But how nice, so enjoyable to watch him on friday evening, finally enjoying cooking, having a laugh with his guests without nasty shouting and swearing! So much nicer, real cooking, i have to give him credit for taking that on, and with a smile and charm. Well done Gordon. However, your tiramisu' is not right! Happy Christmas. i
