  4. What an inspiration! We have friends coming to dinner on saturday and I now know what to cook them, I used to do Steak Dianne regularly and your programme reminded me of what a great dish it was. Plus my mum used to make a mandarin flan, similar to the cheescake, orange jelly with whisked evaporated milk on biscuit base and topped with mandarins, happy memories! Thanks Gordon Jane xxx

  5. Really enjoying this programme. Makes me what to have a go - even though I am a little worried about setting fire to the kitchen with the flambeed mushrooms. Gordon, please slow down a little. You've proved you're good, but we need to keep up. Cheers

  6. Hi, Loving this series, its fantastic. I agree with Ana about doing a budget meal. It would be an oppertunity to prove one can eat well and interestingly even when pennies are tight. I also think a meal for a family with young kids would be good. Having said that I'm not one for pandering to a fussy child! Nice one Gordon, Cheers.

  8. I loved the trip you took to "Southall", on the last cookalong. It made my week. How about following up with some Indian cooking?

  9. A marketing opportunity/profit area for Channel4: Could you set up another Text Number with the Super Markets so that you can send a text FOOD to another number and they will arrange to home deliver it to you? Internet shopping would be a brilliant idea to support the programme. Thanks! Karen

  10. How about doing a student one,we dont all eat beans on toast, but we still dont have enough money for sirloin steaks and salmon etc;and its the credit crunch.Condiser that all we have is oven chips, eggs and ketchup, have a budget for the meal that we can do, and i know it wont only be students that are thankful.

  21. Hi Love the show! It is really great to have an oppertunity to cook along such an awesome chef! However I do have one problem. I live in such a rural area that there are no gas mains supply so therefore we have to cook on electric cooker! So could you please create some menu's that don't need flamboying as this is impossible to achieve on an electric cooker. MANY THANKS.
