  1. Love the programme (the duck recipe was FAB!). For those of you would only have negative views, just switch to something else and CHILL!!! Nobody is forcing you to watch the show.

  2. I cannot believe that the programme is meant to be taken seriously as a cookery course, as opposed to being an attempt at television comedy to attract a prime time audience. First except in Spain, how many people eat towards 10 at night? Second as the menu is for four we are supposed to cook what to us is an untried menu before guests: really?. Third how many people have a TV in their kitchen anyway and, if they do, try to cook and watch at the same time? Gordon's celebrity guest also provides a ridiculous distraction. When you are trying to follow what Gordon is doing, the guest either often interrupts with a joke or needs help if they are struggling, which diverts the TV camera away from Gordon, so we lose track of what he is doing. Gordon also speaks extremely fast, so it is difficult to write down what he is saying - I do not do shorthand. In the first two weeks, at least he provided details of his method on the website, so it was possible to piece it all together, but in the third week this has been omitted. I did not want to, but I simply had to give up. If we are not to be given the method of cooking, what we put it in,how long etc in a way we can follow, the whole thing is a waste of time: just a publicity stunt.

  3. We all know what to expect with Gordon, but Amanda Holden was disgusting on last nights show..in fact it was offensive. Her horrible remarks about ladies 'creaming their pants' and a lot worse was worthy of a building site. It smacks of Amanda's attention seeking desperation to stay on tv.I felt as embarrased as Gorden looked. I was really looking forward to the show but ended up switching off.So I don't even know what Gordon was cooking last night.
