

Cutting onions is tricky for most people because of streaming eyes.

I've devised a way of getting around the issue by using what I call onion goggles.
They are my favourite item in the kitchen, and the only foolproof way to stop those tears.
You think that leeks are friendly, nice things - but they come and get you as well.
Also the little spring onion - not to be underestimated. Just because it's small, it doesn't mean it's not as strong.
So, there you go - use onion goggles when chopping all of these things, and there won't be a tear in sight.
