Chris Bush is doing it for the kids on Come Dine With Me York
Young British playwright, Chris is in it for the money.
"Being an impoverished artist it's the best part of a couple of month's salary!" he confesses.
After a night of being patronised by Andy and Famida, Chris is keen to show his rivals exactly what he's made of.
"I hope they'll see that just because I'm 23, doesn't mean I'm not as mature as any one of them."
Unsurprisingly, neither one of them is impressed with their host's cooking.
"It's like an artist throwing paint on the wall and expecting something nice to turn out," says Famida.
They might not like their dinner but both Andy and Famida are satisfied with Famida's choice of attire this evening - a see-through top with a couple of plasters covering her tender bits.
"At least the plasters will pull the hairs out when you take them off," quips Andy.
Culture vulture, Chris, wrote his first award winning play aged 14, a musical about Tony Blair.
"Arts and entertainment and culture are what make life worthwhile," says Chris, but Andy doesn't agree.
"I have no interest in seeing Tony Blair on TV, let alone going to see a theatre show about him," he says, bluntly.
Where to go after a debate on modern art? How about a nice chat about immigration politics. That should go smoothly.
"I don't think Andy is racist," muses Chris, "but I think some of his views border on racism."
Pudding, anyone?

First up, a flavour rich tea smoked chicken salad

The guests loved Chris' crispy belly pork

Pudding was a delicious squidgy chocolate brownie
