Andy Swales served up an interesting menu to a hostile audience on Come Dine With Me York
Successful property developer, Andy, certainly knows his own mind.
"I wouldn't say I'm against feminists or feminism, I just think that most of them are probably lesbians," he confesses.
Andy has spoken freely this week and his forthright comments won't stop tonight. "I've stuck Claire on my far left corner because I'm partially deaf in my left ear," he says. And what about Famida's leopard-print crop top and leggings? "She'd probably be in a porn version of Tarzan. I don't know if they did one."
He might be rich but that won't stop Andy preparing dinner with his fingers.
"I've had them in there once," he explains. In case you were wondering, he had his hand in the sauce pot to fish out a hair. "It's not curly enough to be pubic so we're not too bad."
To distract attention from his vinegar-heavy starter, Andy shares some more of his views on women.
"I don't mind women going to football but I think they should be in a separate stand," he tells his guests.
"The last time we did anything in football was 1966," says Chris, "I think Andy's views are more 1066."
Money bags Andy is hoping to impress with his 'out there' cuisine, but despite her penchant for animal print, Famida is not impressed with squirrel pie. In fact, she spits it out into her hand…

Vinegar, gravy and lettuce went into Andy's Yorkshire pudding salad

Famida couldn't stomach it but the others tried the squirrel ale pie

And the week's culinary culmination was raspberry and strawberry passion pudding. Unfortunately for copyright reasons we can't bring you Andy's recipe, but try this summer pudding trifles recipe instead.
