First host, professional deer stalker, Christian Viola, is after the big bucks on Come Dine With Me Croydon
Christian's a confident man who knows his limits. Being a critical guest is one of them.
"If I'm invited round for dinner, I don't usually get invited round again," he admits. But he won't let a little thing like insulting his rivals distract him from the prize.
"Going into this competition I've got probably 100 per cent chance of winning."
While Christian puts the final touches to his starter, his guest range free around his house and discover his curious bedtime reading material - Cartridge World and Practical Poultry magazine. Mmm - relaxing. "Maybe he's a poultry assassin?" Lulu suggests.
With mulled wine to melt the ice, everyone is on their best behaviour. Or are they? Christian is less than impressed by Angelique's racy shoulder-less outfit and Lulu is in stitches over Christian's oldie-worldie-speaky.
"He should be teaching in someone's secondary school!" she laughs.
Over dinner it only gets worse. Christian's history of deer provenance isn't the conversation starter he'd hoped and Angelique's poor poker-face left no-one in any doubt about how she felt about the food.
"That bit of meat reminded me of a dog turd," she shares.

The diners got hands on with an impressive plate of fruits de mer.
Unfortunately we can’t bring you Christian's recipe for copyright reasons, but try this seafood salad instead.

Christian served Muntjac medallion with a lemongrass risotto and ginger infused jus.

Fresh from the bedroom - Christian's zabaglione ice cream, served with Marsala.
