Former model, Hugo Preece, is quite the man about town, but will his dinner be too flash in the pan for Come Dine With Me West London
After the girls got off to a fractious start on day one, the boys are hoping for some cat fight action. In fact, Greg's hoping they settle their differences in an all out jelly fight.
Don't be silly Greg. There's no jelly on Hugo's decadent dinner menu. But there is the finest foie gras 'that money can buy'. Expensive it may be, but food writer, Thoby, is not sure his ethics can stomach it.
Before Hugo can serve his controversial starter he needs to find some organic pears. Having forgotten them on his shopping trip, he makes a last minute taxi dash 'Anneka Rice style' to buy some.
Dinner is served and Sabrina thinks she might finally be hitting it off with Amii. So what does Amii think? "She's hideous," says the PR princess. Maybe Hugo's 'light' main meal featuring a potato mountain will lift the mood…

Hugo got his party off to a decadent start serving foie gras and poached pear with red onion marmalade on brioche toast.

Hugo kept it simple for his main dish serving mammoth portions of Alaskan salmon on a bed of minted peas with rosemary roasted Jersey Royals. Unfortunately we can't bring you Hugo's recipe for copyright reasons but for a similar dish try this salmon with Parmesan potatoes recipe instead.

For a fiery finish Hugo served a simple sweet of banana flambé with red wine and lavender sorbet. Unfortunately we can't bring you Hugo's recipe for copyright reasons but for a similar dish try this apple pancake recipe instead.
