Channel 4's award-winning daytime show Come Dine with Me returns for a brand-new series of mouth-watering food and hilarious hosting.
First host in West London is landscape gardener, Greg Basire, who modestly describes himself as 'Mr Mediocre' but is secretly very competitive, especially when it comes to beating his kids at football.
Next up is linguist, Hugo Preece, who's finding it tough to get organised after a late night at Greg's. Hugo's planned a simple menu that will give him plenty of time at the table, but when he serves his foie gras starter, he realises he might have been better off staying in the kitchen, as he upsets gardener Greg with his acerbic opinions.
Iranian-born Sabrina Ghayour plans to wow her guests with a lavish Persian menu. But she'll also have her work cut out keeping the peace, as the previous night Amii confessed that she doesn't like Sabrina, and Greg told Hugo and Amii that they were snobs.
PR princess' Amii van Amerongen' is planning a charm offensive to stop everyone from arguing. But before her dinner has even started, Hugo admits he enjoys winding Greg up.
Food journalist' Thoby Young' thinks he has what it takes to scoop the £1,000 prize and has a trick up his sleeve: his children call him Mr Tarty because of his expertise in making tarts. So will his dessert save the day and win him the prize?
