Carol has spent the week butting heads with rival Patrick, but how will he behave on her big Come Dine With Me Torbay night?
Sales assistant and single mum of two, Carol has particular views on the company she keeps.
"I don't really like old people much or boring fuddy duddies."
And she certainly hasn't got on with rival, Patrick. The two of them have been at each other's throats all week - but maybe they can put their differences aside for this last night. What do you reckon Patrick?
"I don't know if she can cook or not, I don’t care at this point. I'll just eat it and get out," says Patrick.
Carol wants tonight to be a relaxed and happy evening but just minutes after her guests arrive, disaster strikes. Her ancient grill gives up the ghost.
"I need the £1,000 now," she laughs. "I've got to buy an oven."
As dinner continues, it seems that Patrick is sticking to his 'get in, get out' promise. He's on his very best behaviour and even has some very positive things to say about Carol's cooking.
But it's too late for shy housewife, Alison, who has felt the strain of a week of challenging dinner parties.
"I most definitely won't keep in touch," she says, close to tears, "there's no way I ever want to see any of these people again."

Carol's fresh channel crab cakes went from grilled to fried but still tasted delicious.

Rich and meaty, Carol's lamb stifado with stuffed tomatoes and rosemary potatoes split the group.

Everyone loved a double helping of pudding in the form of raspberry pavlova and chocolate fondue. Unfortunately, we can't bring you Carol's dessert recipes for copyright reasons but for similar dishes try these pavlova and chocolate fondue recipes instead.
