Having spent a week successfully swallowing his rivals' repasts, tonight is Colin's turn to shine and he's feeling quietly confident about his menu showcasing local produce.
The guests take a turn around Colin's creative space and Sharon can't resist a hammer on the drums. The evening is going well and, as the first course is concluded, Colin declares the evening an absolute pleasure.
There's nothing like tempting fate, Colin; as Annie tries to take the conversation down a deep and meaningful road, Sharon gets annoyed at the convoluted conversation.
"Do you understand the words 'shut up'?" bites Annie at her giggling rival. "Why are you so angry Annie?" taunts Sharon. "Did you have a bad childhood?" It's all too much for the others as Colin tries his hardest to keep the peace. "It's an explosive finale," he sighs.

After greeting his guests with deep-fried cockles, Colin served a starter of homemade tomato soup with homemade bread.

For his meaty main Colin served medallions of tenderloin pork with black-eyed beans, celeriac, beetroot and rustic mash.

Trying not to finish on a sour note, Colin served coffee and chocolate cream with a chocolate wafer biscuit.
