Patriotic Annie loves all things Welsh and is such a fan of Dylan Thomas that she's bought the house he was born in.
"The problem with the English," Annie tells us as she prepares a crème Anglais, "they've got to claim everything; people's land, people's culture, people's recipes, people's everything."
Annie came across somewhat stern on the first evening and her guests are a little nervous about what to expect. Annie is confident all will go well, as long as nobody criticises her house. "If they do, I'll poison them," she promises.
Given her love for all things of the Valleys, it's no surprise that Annie's opted for a Welsh-themed menu - laverbread and all. Samira's unsure about the seaweed starter but it's testament to the chef that she manages to clear her plate.
All seems to be going well until Colin points out his host's penchant for cigarettes. Sharon wants to have her say and within minutes the two Swansea ladies are having an all out row.

To get the party started Annie served laverbread quiche with roast beetroot, egg sauce and samphire.

Staying true to her roots Annie served roast rib of Black Mountain beef for main with seasonal vegetables and gravy.
Unfortunately we can’t bring you this recipe for copyright reasons, but try this rib eye steak with roasted red peppers recipe instead.

Keeping with the Welsh theme, Annie finished her evening with Bara Mwyar and egg custard - a Welsh version of summer pudding.
