Fan of a tan, Sandra Brooks has her eye on younger man, John in Come Dine With Me East Yorkshire. Can the competitive cook tempt him with a bit of old bird?
Keen horsewoman and competitive cook, Sandra Brooks, is not afraid of the sun bed. Her tan-tastic complexion and eye for the younger gents prompted comparisons to Birds of a Feather's Dorian Green earlier in the week.
Keeping with the old bird theme, Sandra's opted to serve a plethora of poultry for her main course in the form of a bird, stuffed in a bird, stuffed in a bird. "I hope it's not a budgie stuffed inside a parrot stuffed inside an emu," trills Wendy. Hilarious.
Using sewing skills picked up from her butcher father, Sandra sews a pheasant inside a duck inside a goose and pops it in the oven to roast – for quite some time.
After a starter of upside down salad it's time to tuck into the poultry trio. But Wendy's looking worried: " I'm feeling a little bit guilty, because was it necessary for three little lives to die for our pleasure?" she frets.
"Why didn't you tell me you were vegetarian?" asks Sandra.
"I'm not."
Time for dessert and a tedious anecdote from Andrew, perhaps? Tonight's trivia is James Bond and the fact fanatic treats his guest to a breakdown of the deliberate mistakes to be found in each Bond movie. It's all too much for Wendy, who breaks out in hysterics.
"I've never met anybody like Andrew," admits a bemused John. "Which is probably why I'm never killed anybody."

To get her meal under way Sandra served mistinguette salad – an upturned concoction of lettuce, avocado, boiled egg and prawns.

Sandra's controversial main course consisted of turkey stuffed with duck stuffed with pheasant

To finish things off Sandra served a raspberry almond Charlotte russe
