Cutting critic, Paul Ross, can certainly dish out the criticism but can he dish up an edible dinner on celebrity Come Dine With Me?
Acid-tongued TV critic, Paul, knows what he likes and isn't afraid to say so. For Paul a dinner party disaster consists of shy people, snobbish people and a banquet without booze. It's a shame two of his diners don't drink then.
All week Paul has been winding his rivals up with culinary cusses and unflattering critiques but tonight the tables have turned and his guests are determined to give as good as they got.
Conscious of the inevitable criticism, Paul's determined his meal will go off with a bang. Literally, he's serving a side order of fireworks with his Moroccan-style lamb. But these aren't your common or garden guests. These are celebrities and it takes more than a limp rocket to get Lesley Joseph's heart racing.
Unimpressed by Paul's food and his fireworks Lesley gets personal with a swipe at the critic's sense of humour. "You can give it out but you can't take it," she snipes.
Will Paul's dinner have done enough to win back points or is revenge a dish best served cold?

To get things off to a fiery start, Paul served spicy butternut squash soup with warm ciabatta.

For his main dish Paul served a deliciously more-ish Moroccan style lamb with Mediterranean vegetables and couscous. Unfortunately we can't bring you Paul's recipe for copyright reasons, but why not try this Moroccan-spiced lamb shanks recipe instead?

To round his dinner off Paul served Scotch mist – a mixture of double, cream meringues, Scotch, biscuits and almonds.
