Sixties heart throb, Jimmy Osmond, has funny foibles when it comes to food and to entertaining for that matter. How will he fare in the Come Dine With Me celebrity special?
Sixties singing sensation and devout Mormon, Jimmy Osmond, is fussy when it comes to food, and claims to only covet pure and simple cuisine. Then again, he is American; taking one for the homeland Jimmy's opted for a supersized menu.
"I think they'll be overwhelmed by my menu," beams the confident crooner. Hmmm... not sure serving a massive menu to two skinny models is a sure fire way to success, but good luck. Caprice is certainly feeling the effects of three days feasting. "I don't know if I can eat again," she groans. Poor Jimmy.
Like true celebs, Jimmy's guests turn up nearly an hour late, leaving the long haired lover from Utah biting his nails in his borrowed apartment. To pass the time our host sketches some uncanny caricatures of his fellow celebs. Will his talents never end?
When the guests finally arrive Jimmy's keen to crack on and reveal his final surprise. To 'entertain' the guests and help him serve dinner Jimmy has hired a dwarf who he keeps referring to as Little Donny. "I rang Donny and asked if it would be OK," Jimmy explains to his alarmed guests. Erm, I'm not sure Donny is the one who should be offended.
Caprice does her best to finish her meal but throws in the towel at course three - and brings out the Tupperware to take her meal home. Then in a final bizarre twist, Little Donny - real name Alan - does a turn as Elvis, no-one's really sure why.
Jimmy's meal was certainly memorable but will it be for the right reasons?

To get his guests in the mood Jimmy serves up 'Bloody Jimmy' cocktails followed by a lettuce wedge appetiser and a starter of courgette soup.

For the main event Jimmy serves pepper seared fillet of beef with a mushroom option for vegetarian, Caprice. Try this recipe for beef fillet from 4food.

Finally, to finish it all off Jimmy serves an American classic – Banana Foster.
