Nightclub owner, Rick, hopes drag act, Cherry Bakewell, will spice up his night in Come Dine With Me Aberdeen. A nice accompaniment to dinner or a tart too far?
Rick Brecken Ridge runs Aberdeen's premier gay night but claims to be a little shy. "First impressions of me may be slightly stand-offish," he admits. "But I'll be fine after a glass of wine."
To compensate for Rick's retiring nature he's hired in some help. A drag queen called Miss Cherry Bakewell puts on an intimate show for the guests involving a feather duster. Stand-offish is one thing Rick, sexual assault another.
Cherry takes a definite shine to conservative Bob, giving him his own personal lap dance. "Help," he cries a little unconvincingly, "is my face red?" As a beetroot, Bob.
Entertainment over it's time for the food but Bob's finding it hard to concentrate. "She was worth eating," he giggles. Oh Bob, eat your soup.
The starter gets a mixed response and the main course of sea bass and noodles is too out there for traditionalist Bob. Not so for Filipino, Laura, who is determined to make the most of her fish. "Did you just eat the eye?" gags an outraged Bob. "The fish head is where the fat is," explains Laura. Mmm, sounds delicious.
After a quick rummage round Rick's dressing up box his guests find some cowboy outfits and settle down to dessert donning Stetsons. "If my friend was here, I'd gladly feed her," says the lovelorn cowboy. Seriously Bob, let her go.

After a quick glass of bubbly Rick served his guests a starter of cold summer tomato soup with pesto dressing. Unfortunately we can't bring you Rick's recipe for copyright reasons, but why not try this gazpacho recipe from Tommi Miers instead?

For the main course Rick served Scottish sea bass on a bed of noodles.

To round off his night Rick served crushed raspberry cheesecake. Unfortunately we can't bring you Rick's recipe for copyright reasons, but why not try these raspberry cheesecake cups instead?
