Straight talking Filipino, Laura, wants to win the cash to fly home and see her kids for Christmas. But how will her exotic cuisine fare with the patriotic purists in Come Dine With Me Aberdeen?
Having moved to Britain to try and raise money for a better life for her children back in the Philippines, Laura hopes the £1000 prize money will help her get home to be with them at Christmas.
Laura's cooking up some traditional Filipino cooking that her mum used to make her when she was a child… oh yeah, and some Yorkshire puddings. For dessert she's make leche flan, a choice that has her guests in a bit of a fluster. "Isn't a leche someone who pervs on people?" muses Rick.
The first dish of the evening is mussels in oyster sauce and prawn tempura. To add a bit of sweetness to the dish Lara chucks in a glug of fizzy pop. Time for tea and the starter is a hit with Rick. "The mussels and the sauce she did them in was to die for, really, to die for," he raves. Steady on Rick, it's only Sprite.
Bob's not happy about the shop-bought Yorkshires and even has a grumble about the way Laura holds her fork. "I often watch people eating," he begins. Really Bob, that sort of talk could get you locked up.
Finally to dessert - can Laura's 'pervy' pudding put a smile on Bob's face? "I can feel my teeth rotting," he announces. Complimentary indeed.

To get the party started Laura served mussels in oyster sauce and prawn tempura.

For the main event Laura served an old family favourite – chicken pastel with Yorkshire pudding.

To finish things off she served leche tart – no perving necessary.
