These wannabe hosts with the most are more used to being served than serving up. But for one week only, they've been getting their hands dirty in the kitchen in the battle to scoop the £1000 prize for their favourite charity

Host on the third night is socialite, magazine habitué and all-round It girl, Tamara Beckwith.

To up her chances of winning the competition Tamara's pulling out all the stops. She shows off her upper class dining experience by hiring a Brazilian butler to help her serve her guests smoothly.

But when her first attempt at baking causes an outcry, will her 'helper' defuse the situation, or will her guests think that she's cheating?

Starter

Chilled tomato soup with fresh crab

Main Course

main course

Tamara rustled up her tasty cake by customising a ready made cake mix.

  3. I'm amazed at the poor standard of cooking in this country, considering the amount of cookery programmes on TV, and zillions of books for sale. I also think that many need to be taught some table manners. Some don't even know how to use a knife and fork. Also the table settings are so dated or just twee, on many episodes. No wonder the rest of the world think we're chaves. Come on Brits step up to the plate.
