
Marketing manager, Amy Lovett, from Come Dine With Me Southampton is a fan of a pint but a foe of picky eaters. "They really annoy me," she tells us. With a ladies only guest list let's hope none of the diners are fussy over food
All four ladies had been expecting some men among the diners and they're a little daunted by the all female dynamic. "We won't be bitchy," Amy reassures them, though no one looks that convinced.
Dinner is served and talk turns to feminine bodily functions before the starter has even been finished. "So who would eat a placenta here?" asks Amy, right off the bat.
It's curry for main but the dry spice is sticking in Eleanor's throat – unfortunately, the compliments aren't. "It's not inedible," she tells her host cheerily. Amy looks thrilled.

After drinks and canapes in the garden Amy served stuffed baby squid on vegetable ribbons with a lime and ginger butter.

It's spicy Thai meatballs for main with a side of saffron rice and some Asian green vegetables. Unfortunately, we can't bring you Amy's recipe for copyright reasons but for a similar dish try this spicy lamb meatballs recipe instead.

Amy's mysteriously titled dessert of luscious Lovett's lemon 'cheesefake' looks and tastes like a cheesecake but is made without cheese.
