Matthew is planning to dazzle his Come Dine With Me - South London dinner guests with his Jamie Oliver-style skills, but would Jamie serve his guests packet pasta?
Matthew has been a complete food snob all week, turning his epicurean nose up at Judi's schnapps (mass produced), Moni's dahl (too runny) and Lisa's lamb (we'll give him that one). Matthew doesn't blame the other hosts; after all, he's been cooking dinner parties for his dinner party group from the age of 16.
But the super street 25 year old might have to hop down from his high horse tonight as he reveals to the other hosts that he still lives with his mum and dad. Despite what you might think, Mum's not cooking tonight's food. The man at the supermarket is. Matthew does open the packet of pasta himself though, and even puts it on to boil by his very own self. Well done Matthew - everybody clap for Matthew!
Matthew's less sophisticated guests have no idea and chomp their way through the host's apparently fancy food with gusto. The mood is so good, Judi's even prepared to admit she spilled wine on Lisa's sofa. Almost. "I think it was Lisa too," she says, throwing up her hands, and promptly knocking over her wine. The defence rests, Your Honour.

Matthew dolled up packet pasta to make a winning tortelloni, mozzarella and tomato in a basil leaf.
Unfortunately we can't bring you this recipe but for some proper posh pasta, try Gordon's crab ginger tortellini recipe.

Even moaning Moni loved Matthew's red mullet with potato, beans and tapenade.

In a bold move, Matthew served a fruit soup of his own invention followed by a crowd-pleasing tiramisu.
Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, we can't bring you this recipe but for your own pudding pick-me-up, try this tasty tiramisu recipe.
