No meal is complete without an array of good quality cheese treats but as with most posh nosh, less is more. Three is the magic number when it comes to cheese appreciation. A bombardment of fromage will only confuse the palate and stop guests experiencing each specimen's full potential.
Never slice from the nose of the cheese as this leaves the final diner with a less than appetising slice of rind. And don't be too ample with your portion size - there's nothing glamorous about greed, it just gives you gout.
