Parsley - posh. Parsley garnish - not posh. Parsley is a great addition to lots of dishes, brightening up salads, vegetables, fish and meat. But a lonely, green clump dolloped on top of scrambled egg looks more motorway caff than master chef.

Strictly speaking any techniques for food display that are widely used in Britain's kebab shops have no place on the high society dinner table.

I once served a stuffed chicken breast en croute and one of my guests said it was the nicest pasty he'd ever had, his wife hit him!

Call it Salmon en croute or fish pasty still looks good to me, I wouldn't say no to a slice or two. Whats wrong with fish pasty !!!!!
