Salmon used to be a posh fish but according to fine food suppliers Forman & Field, the growth of fish farming means, these days, salmon is as 'affordable as a pork chop'.
And giving something a French moniker does not a posh dish make. A salmon fillet wrapped in puff pastry is essentially a fish pasty.
