Restaurant boss, Maria Wilkinson, is relying on the power of disco to make sure her supper sparkles in Come Dine With Me Portsmouth
To guarantee a good time vibe at her dinner party, Maria's enlisted business partner, Lou, to wait on her guests and show them a good time. The party pair also plan to get the diners up dancing after every course.
Eager to look her best for her night on the (carpet) tiles, Maria's arranged a visit from a personal stylist. But the committed cook is still busy with dinner when he arrives to doll her up and he's forced to give her a hair do while she finishes her dishes.
Maria's DJ leaves her in the lurch at the last minute meaning best pal, Lou, has to hit the decks. The disco dancing is a hit but Maria's guests are puzzled by Lou's presence. "Who is this girl?" asks Sheena, put out.
The booze and boogying continue into the night and everyone seems to have had a good time. Lee's certainly enjoyed himself as he plants a smacker on the ladies' lips. That's finally given Lynne something to smile about.

Serving the second soufflé of the week, Maria kicked off her evening with a cheesy starter of double baked applewood soufflé. Unfortunately we can’t bring you this recipe for copyright reasons, but try this soufflé instead.

For her main course Maria served chicken breast stuffed with crab and mint mousse on a potato rosti.

To finish her evening Maria served white chocolate pannacotta with Champagne, raspberries and lots of dancing. Unfortunately we can’t bring you this pud for copyright reasons, but try this pannacotta instead.
