South African shopkeeper Greg Miller is first up to play host in the university city of Oxford
Vociferous carnivore Greg is kick-starting the week with an alternative menu of exotic meats including wildebeest and smoked snoek - that's a seawater fish similar to the barracuda in case you were wondering.
Having spent nearly the whole £125 budget on meat from his own shop, the rest of the menu might have to be a budget affair. That won't go down well with his vegetarian guest, Adish.
But if Greg had his way he wouldn't be cooking for vegetarians anyway.
"It would be a lot easier just doing the damn wildebeest," he grumbles. Let's hope host and guest manage to find some common ground over the rest of the menu.
As the guests arrive and get to know each other it becomes clear that there are a couple of contenders for the 'fussiest eater' crown. Between Adish's complicated religious dietary rules and banker Tom's obsession with presentation, this could be the trickiest Come Dine With Me week yet.
With so many additional pressures, schoolboy errors like forgetting to make gravy won't help Greg on his mission to win the big bucks at the end of the week.

Greg launched into his exotic menu with a starter of home-smoked snoek served with avocado and a vegetarian option of smoked peppers.
Unfortunately we can't bring you Greg's smoked snoek recipe so have a go at this smoked salmon latkes recipe.

He chased his super starter with a fillet of wildebeest marinated in South African spices, served with fresh vegetables. For veggie, Adish, he made roasted aubergines with butternut squash.
Unfortunately we can't bring you Greg's fillet of wildebeest recipe so have a go at Gordon Ramsay's fillet of beef recipe instead.

Pudding was a gooey crowd-pleaser of granadilla cream tart served with a selection of South African liqueurs.
Unfortunately we can't bring you Greg's granadilla recipe but try this Sticky toffee apple tart recipe.
