Seamus Farrelly likes his plate served with a large portion of politics. Can he argue his way into the winning seat?
Part-time property developer, Seamus Farrelly, likes his plate served with a large portion of politics. The divorced father has been locking horns with single mum Zara all week - maybe all this feisty talk is his way of flirting.
To ensure a lighter atmosphere at tonight's dinner, David decides to buy in some party goodies and heads to the high street in search of amusing novelties. First stop: Sin Sin's Love Store – just what sort of party do you have in mind, Seamus?
He's hoping to draw on his days as a trainee butcher and rustle up the perfect chateaubriand to impress his guests. Let's hope they give him an easy time of it as today is our host's birthday. No cake and candles for Seamus, though, as he's opted for a dessert of strawberries and vinegar - as if the mood won't be sour enough.
Dinner is served and our two feisty rivals find some common ground in their love of rugby. Could the pair be about to bury the hatchet? "Zara and Seamus are like the Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor of Come Dine With Me," muses David. Now let's not get carried away.

Seamus greeted his guests with an array of cocktails before serving his starter of bay scallops in tarragon and lime with angel hair pasta.

For the main Seamus showed off his butchery shills with tenderloin of beef served with duchesse potatoes, mange tout and creamed leeks with runner beans and chervil.

For dessert Seamus served fresh strawberries in balsamic vinegar with ice cream followed by a variety of cheeses with Bath olive biscuits and a glass of port.
Unfortunately we can't bring you Seamus' dessert, but try Jamie's
grilled strawberries with Pimm's recipe.
