Sales Manager, Jane, from Come Dine With Me - Manchester, has something of the David Brent about her. "Get back on the phones, sell, sell, sell and smile while you dial," she chirrups at her staff. Let's hope her people skills improve outside the office
It's not just Ricky Gervais Jane's impressed with but any celeb – she's a self-confessed stalker. "This is the day I spent out with Norman Wisdom," she explains thumbing through her scrapbook. "He sang to me." Lucky lady. "I feel because I've got this I've got a closeness to the people," adds Jane. You haven't.
Keeping with the celebrity theme Jane's given her evening a Hollywood glamour dress code, rolled out a red carpet and even called in some Manchester paparazzi (really it's her mates with some disposable cameras, but you work with what you've got).
Her guests arrive and are all on cloud nine after having their pictures snapped. "It makes me feel what it's going to be like when I'm famous after this programme," says Shaida, somewhat deluded.
Jane's cuisine is also a hit with everyone impressed by her steaks cooked on a plank. But will the praise be converted into points? You know how two-faced celebs can be.

Jane launched her movie-themed menu with the cryptically titled Vinnie Jones: Lock, Stock and Smokin' salmon. In truth it was a smoked salmon pate.

For main it was Johnny Depp: Pirates' 'planked' steak or, to give it its normal title: beef steak cooked on wood with potatoes, veg and herby cheese. We'd have preferred just Johnny Depp. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons we can't bring you Jane's steak recipe but for a similar dish try this seared steak recipe instead.

Jane's pud was Dean Martin: Little old wine jelly or wine jelly with strawberries and custard if we're being honest.
