Recruitment manager, Chris Brady, from Come Dine With Me - Manchester, hires and fires for a living and is not afraid to tell it like it is. But his cutting comments have left him locking horns with Shaida all week. Can his cooking conquer her heart?
Despite doling out the criticism Chris isn't feeling confident about his cuisine. "I'm feeling confident about the fact that I'm not going to win," he admits. And that's before he's even started.
In an attempt to buy his guests' affection Chris has invested in personalised gifts. So what's he bought for Shaida? An olive branch, perhaps? No - a voodoo doll with a cut out picture of his face on it. That's sure to heal the rift.
The guests seem just about satisfied with the grub though Shaida's not sure he's put in enough effort. How about some voodoo to lighten the mood? "She will like me," vows a determined Chris. "She will like me I promise you." She won't.
To finish off his evening Chris gets out the dressing up box and encourages his guests to don a disguise. Prim and proper Shaida gets dolled up like stripper and seems to be having the time of her life. Maybe Chris has finally found what makes her tick.
Chris kicked off his evening with a simple starter of grilled haloumi with homemade salsa.
Chris served an Italian trio for his main meal including mini lasagne, mini chicken and pesto tagliatelle with tomato, basil and mozzarella towers. Unfortunately, we can't bring you Chris' main dishes for copyright reasons but for a similar combo try this ultimate lasagne recipe with some chicken and pesto pasta.
To round off the party Chris served a fruity sweet of summer fruit pudding.
