The city of Ipswich has more pigs than people and the first of our hosts hogging the limelight on Come Dine With Me Ipswich hopes her guests will be greedy for seafood
Former pub landlady, Zoe Condon, thinks her experience running a pub makes her an expert in grub. But if her rivals' repasts don't come up to scratch don't expect Zoe to mince her words. "If someone comes to the table and says 'did you enjoy that?' and I didn't I'll tell them. Or else how do they learn?" You teach 'em Zoe.
The straight-talking chef is laying on a fishy feast featuring lobster, crab, prawns and mussels. Let's hope her guests like marine grub. She's also keen to emphasise her local ingredients. There's local asparagus and Suffolk back bacon and all the seafood has been locally caught - it's a veritable local love-in.
With her fishy feast well under control it's time to greet the guests and prove she's host with the most. But they've barely been there 5 minutes before she's put Barry's nose out of joint, inferring his job in insurance is dull. But can they guess what Zoe does for a living? "Nursery teacher," someone suggests. "Do I look like the nursery type?" asks Zoe. "Bosoms," blurts out Gerard like an over excited school boy, bringing attention to his host's impressive assets.
It's time for the food but Angie's not comfortable, eyeing up her dinner. "The prawns were looking at me," she mutters, somewhat delusional. "Angie, are you going to be OK with the prawns?" asks the concerned host. Using all her am dram acting prowess, Angie musters a smile.
The dinner goes down well but the male guests are feeling a little overwhelmed by the three strong women. Has Zoe's dinner blown them away in a good way?

After a plate of crunchy nibbles with smoked mackerel pate, Zoe got the party started with gratineéd potatoes with Suffolk back bacon and Trimley asparagus.

It was a fishy feast for Zoe's main course with Felixstowe lobster and crab Mornay, mussels and smoked prawns with coleslaw and potato salad. Unfortunately for copyright reasons we can't bring you Zoe's marine cuisine but if you're hungry for the taste of the sea try Hugh's lobster thermidor recipe instead.

Zoe ended the night with a boozy take on a childhood classic - strawberries in Pimm's jelly and Cointreau ice cream, accompanied by some chocolate petite fours.
