Pub manager, James has opted for a high-risk strategy offering his guests a choice of starters, mains and desserts, committing himself to a total of six gourmet dishes.
To help him in his quest and keep the ladies happy he’s brought in local heart-throb and pub waiter Tommy to serve people drinks at the push of a button. “He’s a very handsome man,” gushes Marie.
Keen to push the chef to his limit, the guests are determined to order everything on the menu, even if that means eating two dinners.
Despite a few kitchen hiccups, James’ dishes are wiped spotless after every course. But while the plates may be clean the conversation is not. Sixty-three year old scientist, Vera has everyone shocked with her flirty banter at the dinner table.

Trio of chocolate mousse with raspberries

James made his Baileys bread and butter pudding by trimming brioche into 1-2 cm thick slices, covering with Baileys, raisins and a mixture of milk, eggs and sugar and baking for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
