Our celebrities on the celebrity special have bonded well – with the exception of restaurant critic Toby Young. His acerbic remarks have not gone unnoticed and he’s not been winning friends.
Tonight the boot is on the other foot and it’s his culinary skills that are under review. If that’s not enough pressure Toby admits he’s better reviewing than cooking and will be relying on his wife for detailed instruction.
Foodie Toby’s strategy is to woo his diners with a simple meal made from the finest ingredients– including a piece of steak costing a whopping £77.
But when it comes to the actual cooking, Toby soon hits trouble and his wife Caroline has to be called to the rescue. Will her timely intervention save the day or will the restaurant critic get a panning? Our celebrities will decide.
