It’s the third day of competitive cooking in Edinburgh and it’s the turn of born-again christian Texan Tanya Williams, who’s hoping to wow her guests with no less than six courses of good old Southern American cuisine.
It’s not long before Tanya realises that she might have overstretched herself. Her fish cakes turn into fish pate and her duck ends up cremated.
By the time Tanya’s guests arrive, she’s still got most of her cooking to do. And then she gets off on the wrong foot with Tracy by insisting she takes off her boots before coming into the house.
Not a good move when your guest hasn’t shaved her legs.
But Tanya’s problems don’t end there. For the last two days, guests Tracy and James haven’t been hitting it off and it’s not long before they’re bickering again. As host, Tanya needs to be at the table to smooth things over – but she’s in the kitchen rescuing her prawns.
So with an icy atmosphere round the table and all hell breaking loose in the kitchen, will Tanya be able to hold everything together and pull off the winning dinner party?
