It’s the last night of the competition and our five London food lovers are about to find out who’s won that £1,000 first prize. Tonight’s host is architect, surveyor and property developer Richard Whitaker. Richard is a stickler for detail and when it comes to food everything has to be just so.
He’s convinced his restaurant style food will outdo his rivals. That’s if he can stop tidying his kitchen for long enough to cook his modern and stylish recipes.
When fishmonger Jonathan arrives with oysters and starts messing up the surfaces Richard’s obsessive tidiness starts to worry the other guests – and at the table anthropologist Linda decides to tell estate agent John a few home truths about his character.
So will Richard’s restaurant style food taste as good as it looks? And if it doesn’t, which of his rivals will walk off with the cash?
