It’s the half way point of this week’s cook-off in Derby, and tonight it’s the turn of chilled out holistic therapist Patsy Sewell-Mwamba to try and massage the score in her favour.

She’s confident her feast of spicy dishes, inspired by her Caribbean roots, will tickle her guests’ tastebuds – but some of her Derby diners aren’t great fans of exotic food.

If nothing else, at least the ambiance should be up to scratch as the group decided to get dressed up to the nines for Patsy’s party. And the sense of occasion seems to have worked to improve relations between professional clown Julia Knight and pole-dance instructor Michele Cooper, who are finally civil towards each other for the first time this week.

However, that could be because Julia has more pressing concerns tonight than bickering with Michele. As well as being confronted by Patsy’s exotic and spicy Caribbean menu, Julia is also challenged to eat her first ever oyster.

Needless to say, the new taste sensation proves too much for Julia, who ends up having to spit it out again, much to the enjoyment of her smirking fellow diners!

And having failed to conquer the oyster, Julia’s then confronted with her biggest pet hate, dessert. And when she again fails to eat any, she gets an ear bashing from her host. So has Patsy ruined her chances of success by serving up too exotic a menu?

Or will her Caribbean food and laid back style help to see her move into first place?
