Night club manager Stuart Burke describes himself as a flamboyant, outgoing and lively personality who's not afraid to experiment in the kitchen. He's also very critical - so let's hope he can live up to his own exacting standards.
Stuart's opted for a modern British menu which he hopes will win him the cash prize. "I've only entered the competition to win it," he swaggers, "I don't like coming second." The club boss learnt to cook watching the house chefs at work in the various bars he's worked in over the last 15 years.
In true barman style, Stuart kicks off proceedings with cocktails, hand-shaken and stirred, including the blue neon orgasmic cocktail. Well if that doesn't clinch it, nothing will. The father-of-three likes his gadgets and claims to have to the biggest couch in Manchester, which comes in handy when Dan and Susan fancy a cushion fight.
Stuart certainly knows how to chef to impress and the meat eaters are all enthusiastic about his haute cuisine. But what about veggie Dan? Stuart serves him an exquisite plate of egg and chips. "It's my mum's favourite," he tells Dan. Well you should have invited her, then.
Bar the eggs, the food has gone down a treat. All that's needed to round it off is a big group row. Carlos is still grumbling about Monday's crumble cuss and decides to give Karen a piece of his mind. She gets teary, he has a tantrum and it's up to Stuart to bring about a truce. Oh, give 'em some meringue, Stuart.

Stuart started his party with a flash entrée of pea soup with pear and lobster.

For his main Stuart served pan-fried sea bass on beluga lentil ragout with horseradish cream.

Stuart ended on a high with raspberry and peach snap topped with glazed meringue.
