Straight-talking mother-of-two, Karen Oulton, is incredibly honest and won't eat anything just to be polite. She claims not to like confrontation but, having got off to a bad start with Carlos on the first day and offended Dan on the third, she seems to be running out of friends fast.
Let's hope her eclectic menu of food from around the world can win some votes. It's no expense spared when Karen goes shopping. "I like quality," she tells us. "The price is irrelevant, isn't it?" If you say so, Karen.
The budding artist thinks her flash menu will wow her rivals but the boys are not impressed and think she's gone over the top. "I just know I'm sorted," she boasts during her prep. Oh Karen, if only you knew.
There's a lot of curiosity about Karen's creative side but Stuart's not sure what he's supposed to be seeing when he's faced with his host's paintings. "Is that a kebab?" he asks, surveying a picture of 'forbidden fruit'.
So she's not going to get any points for her artwork and favouritism will not be giving her the advantage. It's all down to the food.

Karen got the party started with couscous stuffed peppers and a lemon and oil dressing.

Eager to impress she also snuck in a fish course of lemon sole filled with creamy herb cheese and chilli and tomato sauce.

And a veggie alternative of filo parcels with stilton and gorgonzola.

For the main course Karen served chicken tikka on a bed of mixed herb lentils with new potatoes.

To finish Karen served individual lemon tarts with kiwi and mascarpone.
