It’s the start of five days of stiff culinary competition in London. Cooking for four complete strangers tonight is anthropologist Linda Shanson. She’s planned her menu to reflect her well travelled past, with no less than sixteen dishes from around the world.
It’s a lot to take on, especially as Linda has a very laid back attitude to cooking, and she’s soon falling way behind schedule
Things aren’t helped by the fact that one of her guests, Richard, is a self-confessed stickler for perfection while another diner estate agent John, is allergic to prawns, a key ingredient in Linda’s main course.
The guests arrive and Linda finds herself having to cut corners with her extensive menu. But her calm hosting manner soon helps break the ice. So by the end of the night will the diners be baffled by their gastronomic world tour, or charmed into awarding Linda enough points to bag that top prize?
