
It’s the fourth day of the competition in London and tonight is the turn of Italian estate agent John Santamaria.
He’s cocky, he’s confident and, convinced that his Italian menu has all the winning ingredients. But now John has to put his money where his mouth is and show he really can cook.
His main challenge is to serve a fillet of beef that will satisfy all his guests –well-done on the outside for the women and rare inside for the men. After some expert advice from the butcher he’s sure he can pull it off – but when it comes to the crunch, he has a sudden attack of nerves.
All week the competition between the men has been fierce, and Richard’s not slow to admit that he wouldn’t mind if John’s party turns into a disaster. Plus John has some fences to mend with rival Jonathan after picking holes in his dinner party on Tuesday.
So with the knives out and everything to play for will John’s nerves fail him, or will he produce a meal his grandma would be proud of?
