It’s day two in Cambridge and the turn of flash estate agent Gael Norris to show her skills. Gael is a perfectionist so goes to extraordinary lengths to make sure her meal is beautifully presented.
She has planned an Asian influenced meal but thrown in some Caribbean influence, in the form of oxtail stew, for the guests to sample.
But she soon runs out of time fussing over her garnishes and has to ask her guests to get their own drinks when they arrive. Although it is not a great start for Gael, the guests seem to have hit it off.
Straight talking German housewife Simone is having trouble biting her tongue about the food, Carolyn the ex-singer bursts into song to entertain the group, Rachel giggles her way through the evening and Phil remains a dark horse.
So will Gael’s elaborate presentation bag her some winning comments or will her fussiness count against her?
