
Hoping to wipe the floor with the competition on the celeb special is Aggie Mackenzie: she’s the co-presenter of ‘How Clean Is Your House’ and former Associate Editor of Good House Keeping Magazine…so her guests have very high expectations of her home and cooking.
Aggie’s determined to live up to them with her ambitious eight dish Middle Eastern feast. But that means she’s got her work cut out: it’s going to take ten hours to complete her lamb tagine main course, and the pressure mounts when her ice-cream machine blows up.
Somehow she manages to cope and only has her starter of fried aubergine with mint and garlic to finish when the guests arrive. But that gives Roland and Anneka the chance to find out How Clean Her House Is…and they get their answer pretty quickly, when Aggie insists they take their shoes off before going upstairs. Revenge is sweet though as the berated pair don rubber gloves and search for specks of dirt in Aggie’s bathroom in a thoroughly unscientific manner.
