  1. I don't feel that she should have won , it isn't fair on the people who put a real effort into their cooking.

  2. Usually I like watching Come Dine With Me irrespective of how poor the cooking skills are, but at least most people cook or don't lie about "their lack of skills!" However second rate version of Sienna Miller, i.e. Essex girl Keeley is merely a bland self publicist who can't excuse herself with a blonde moment, if she schemingly justified her actions by stating there's nothing in the rules about having to cook! There's also nothing in the rules about manipulating your guests! The producer who allowed this to occur obviously shares the same debauched values otherwise how did this programme come onto our screens. I agree with the comment on 05/09/09 there's enough dishonesty in the world leave that for shows like Big Brother, maybe the producers skills along with Keeley's are better suited to this cheap flagging and annoying concept of reality rather than a classier show like Come Dine With Me where loyal viewers expect some degree of integrity.

  3. I'm normally a big fan of Come Dine With Me and don't miss an episode but I'm bored with smarmy people winning without cooking anything. Hopefully karma catches up with them. I'll be stopping watching the programme if this continues. There's enough dishonesty in the world without watching lazy, self centred people cheating their way to a grand. I also think the people that give them high marks for doing nothing are mad.

  4. I agree she wasnt cheating there's nothing in the rules about who should do the catering - however if she felt it 'Ok' why did she go to great lengths to lie to her guests? She should have let them decide. I for one would not have minded being a guest at her table it did look and sound wonderful, but Id have been furious if it had been me that she'd blatantly lied to like that. Keeley you should be ashamed of yourself!!

  5. I watched come dine with me on sunday 30th August and was disgusted to see Keeley Lawrence pick up the ?1000 prize money which she did not rightly deserve. When the other three contestants had put in so much effort preparing and cooking a meal for their guests this girl walks away with the prize money. I think Amanda swanwick should have won. I'm disgusted that Channel 4 allowed this to happen.

  6. Keeley Lawrence is a cheat and should have been disqualified. I was surprised and angry that Granada let her get away with it. I remember seeing another CDWM show where a man was quite open about using a caterer. That was fine - no deceit involved. What's not okay is lying about it. Lawrence was directly asked if she'd cooked it herself and she lied. What sort of example is that to set to her daughter?

  9. She had a blonde moment, thought she was on Can't cook won't cook. As for lightening up, the cheating stopped all that, I was enjoying it up til then.

  10. Deserved every penny? She cheated! This show is all about cooking for others, not doing a deal with a restaurant. No one who watched this will think better of her as a result...

  12. Brilliant, inventive and shes' bloody gorgeous too! Deserved every penny. Hosting is the important thing, and making the effort to ensure your guests have a good time doesn't have to involve cooking.

  13. Wot a swizz ! May as well shift the party over the street and get them do the service and washing up and all ! Great publicitty for the restrant. Even I could win that - with my pork pie and pastie. I'll even unwrap them for you. Bring your own pickle, mind.

  14. What a joke!!! This episode has killed the whole point to the show... It will now have to be called "Who Can Pay for the Best Caterer". Maybe you should just have it at 5 different restaurants and then call the show"Come Dine in my Favorite Restaurant"! The precedent has been set for future episodes. I wont be so keen to watch again!

  15. I dont think it was right that keeley was allowed to win, as she didnt do any part of the cooking. It isnt fair on the rest of the contestants, this isnt what come dine with me is allabout,it has put a whole different prospectus on the show.Other contestants will now feel its ok to cheat by having dishes from restaraunts sent in.
