
First to bid for the culinary crown in Nottingham, is busy entrepreneur Karen Cullen. Things start badly in the kitchen when the pastry for her asparagus and cheese tart falls flat, she has to fish an insect out of her homemade ice cream and then it simply won't set. Can Karen keep her cool and calmly cook her way to that £1,000 prize?
