This week's first host is steely PR Isabelle Goldstein. She's got one aim in life: to win, no matter what it takes. And she's not afraid to speak her mind. The north Londoner is convinced she's got the recipe for success with her menu of spicy soup, pancetta wrapped chicken, pears, good wine and the finest ingredients she can find. Can Isabelle talk her way to victory?

  1. Isabelle is just a very bad person, or at least that's how she came over. I hope the others gave her a piece of their minds when they saw the show on TV and I hope she reads the comments on this page!

  2. Was she real, or was she a plant?... Towards the end of the week I simply didn't believe it anymore. It was like she was acting the part of a pantomime villain with loads of rehearsed lines.....Chris should've won, his menu was by far the most exciting!

  4. She is by far the worst character we have encounterred on the show. She is desperate to win however vain. Has your mother ever tell you "Treat people the way you want to treated" lady!

  5. I personally think it is a disgrace the way Isabelle is marking the other dinner party's, she knows what she is doing she is giving as low as mark as possible to improve her odds of winning. She is not marking the standard of the food or the dinner party at all and this should not be allowed in my opinion.

  6. Let's be honest, there have been some pretty awful contestants on Come Dine With Me, but most certainly this Isabelle character has got to be the worst. I hope these kind of people watch themselves on television and it serves as a wake up call. It was patently clear from the beginning of the program that her aggressive, "you'll like my dinner or leave" attitude was hiding her sad low self esteem and general ineptitude.
